Mission
The Greater Boston Nursing Collective (GBNC) exists to promote health and well-being in the Greater Boston area and influence the same nationally. It is an inclusive forum for nurses to work together as a community to identify, plan, fund, research and disseminate strategic initiatives designed to advance the science and practice of integrative nursing. These initiatives and the work of the GBNC will be guided by agreed upon principles, prioritizing healing environment and relationship-based care initiatives.
Vision
The GBNC believes that bringing together nursing leaders to work Collectively will enable nursing to have a significant impact on the evolving healthcare environment. The public entrust nurses, this along with our unique role in patient- and family-centered care positions us to be important vehicles for change in healthcare. We believe integrative nursing principles can help inform a powerful transformation throughout the continuum of healthcare improving health, healing and wellbeing.
