2022 is a particularly challenging year for many. We often turn to music when seeking to find hope or respite from the stress within our world.

Ode to Joy, in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, is about peace. Ode to Joy represents the triumph of universal brotherhood against war and desperation. Beethoven put to music this poem that praises freedom and peace between all peoples (poem written by Friedrich Schiller in 1785). Adopted by European community in 1985 as their official anthem. Seemed to be apt timing to share with all of you.
