Joy in our Practice

In this season of giving thanks, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the compassion, talent, humor, professionalism, voice and passion you dedicate to caring for others every single day.  Vincent Van Gogh once said “Your profession is not what brings home your paycheck. Your profession is what you were put on earth to do with such passion and such intensity that it becomes spiritual in its calling.” 

Thank you for dedicating yourself to this profession, the world is a better place because you did.

Today I wanted to share with you a quick 2 minute meditation designed for centering before a meeting. I don’t know about you but with meetings being more virtual and running back to back, I find myself missing the 5 minute walk/dash from 1 room to another. I never realized I used that time and physical activity to let go of the previous meeting and prepare for the next.

I’m trying to use this meditation a few times during the day as a way to re-center and focus.
