We think that the point is to pass the test or overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really always get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen; room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.

One of my children’s favorite movies is Kung Fu Panda, and we use this quote often… to the point they now anticipate us saying it! Simple but true, every day is a gift.

Good morning, and happy fall equinox!
The fall equinox arrives on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 9:31 A.M. EDT. The equinox occurs at the same moment worldwide. During the equinox, the Suncrosses what we call the “celestial equator”—an imaginary extension of Earth’s equator line into space. The equinox occurs precisely when the Sun’s center passes through this line. When the Sun crosses the equator from north to south, this marks the autumnal equinox; when it crosses from south to north, this marks the vernal equinox. – The Old Farmer’s Almanac
